Book of Mormon Translator presents Grant James’s reconstruction of the Book of Mormon in Late Egyptian of the Saite period (26th Dynasty), written in the signs of the Caractors document, with the Old Testament set beside it in the same hand. Research use.

Every reading carries its witness: a published Egyptian name or word, a citation, a count. Readings are checked against Ranke’s Personennamen, the Thesaurus Linguae Aegyptiae, the Mainz PNM, the Demotisches Namenbuch, AGÉA, the Deir el-Medina Database and Muchiki’s sound rules.
